This short tells the story of a clay doll who likes dance ballet but compares herself with a stylized ballerina. She discovers that a candle flame softens her, for which reason she remodels herself to look like the ballerina but is disappointed when she sees her distorted reflection in a vase. The flame goes out, so she heads for the fireplace, melting in the attempt.
