SUMMER PIANO WORKSHOP

In the historical region of Delphi, the 11th ANIMART is hosting for the first time an intensive piano workshop with Christine Tokatlian, performer and professor at Deree - The American College of Greece. The program offers four (4) individual piano lessons that cover a wide range of topics that will accommodate the needs of each participant. Discussions will include issues in performance, technical and musical problem solving, repertoire, career choices, stamina, memory, etc.

The participants will have the unique opportunity to perform their program in a masterclass and a final gala performance. Prizes will be awarded to outstanding participants who will present recitals in Athens and/or Delphi. The organizing committee of ANIMART will announce the winners at the end of the gala concert. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend a variety of artistic events organized by the festival.

Parallel to this intensive program, participants will have free time to explore this universally unique area. They can take tours to the archaeological sites of Delphi, relax on the beaches of Itea, and make daily excursions to the scenic villages of Galaxidi and Arachova.
