Danae Papoutsi Actress

Curriculum Vitae:

 

Danae Papoutsi is an actress. She was born and raised in Athens. She is a graduate of the Drama School of the Piraeus Association. She has attended the Postgraduate School of Fine Arts of ASFA and has also studied indoor decoration.

She has been awarded the honorary distinction of a female role at the “Vaggelis Kotronis” Film Festival for her participation in the short film Easter, directed by Haris Xydia.

In 2016, she was nominated for a Queer theater award for her performance in the Hot Stacks on Hot Stones, Fassbinder, directed by Michalis Panadis.

In 2018 she participated in the Athens and Epidaurus Festival with the performance of Ergotaxio Loula Anagnostaki, directed by Roula Pateraki, and in 2019 in the show I Die as a Country, directed by Roula Pateraki, at the Municipal Theater of Pireaus.

In 2019 she took part in Kosta Zappa's feature film Φrankenstein, interpreting Justin's role.

Her short story titled Station won the first prize at the Panhellenic Short Story Competition and circulated along with the rest of the award-winning short stories from Eleftheroudakis editions entitled 19 new steps.

 

Her first novel titled In Slow Motion, is released by Kedros Publication.
