VSSILIS KARKATSELIS
Vassilis Karkatselis was born in Athens in 1952.
From 1984 he moves to Thessaloniki, Greece were lives and works as an active artist.
He presented his engravings and paintings in 11 solo and in more than 50 exhibitions.
Participated in more than 200 group photography exhibitions and held 33 solo photo exhibitions (some of them are in tour around).
He took part in numerous happenings, installations and group actions with the purpose of broadening the communication of public with works of art.
Today, he is president of the Photography Center of Thessaloniki and member of numerous groups of art or for Art.
His work has been exhibited in many important museums, institutions, Biennales and festivals worldwide.
