Rudolph MORONIS was born in Athens, Greece.

He has studied at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.

He has worked as journalist in various Greek newspapers: MESIMVRINI, SIMERINA, Ta NEA, VRADINI.

He has started to work in television from 1975.

He was Coordinator News of Eurovision and at times had the responsibility and presentation broadcasting (Now with Europe, Thirty minutes in the universe, etc.).

He was a member of the Committee of "Five Experts" to the EBU for the preparation of a feasibility study for the creation of pan-European television program via satellite and he also was the Project Leader at the trial shows that followed (Olympus).

He was Director General of the National Radio and Television Broadcast of Greece (ERT) (1989-1991).

He was Director of the National Council for Radio and Television (NCRTV) (1991-1993) and a member of the first elected members of the NCRTV by the Conference of Presidents of Greek Parliament (2002-2005).

President of the Hellenic Audiovisual Institute (IOM) (2005-2013)

He has organized and directed some private radio stations and television channels (Antenna, Cool FM, Seven X).

He has teached the lesson "Television journalism" at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (1995-2000)

He has translated the plays:

“Ping Pong” by Arthur Antamov, that staged at the State Theatre of Northern Greece (Thessaloniki), 1980.

“The subject was roses” by Frank D. Gilroy.

He has authored the follow books:

“Political cinema: study notes at first stage”

“Introduction to the poetry of Jacques Prever”, Eleftheros Typos, Athens 2006, p. 96
